And that's because this car was partly brought to fruition by the makers of Gran Turismo, Polyphony Digital, in a joint design venture with Citroen. Hardly much of a surprise, because just by looking at it, it's evident that there is both traditional French and Japanese styling elegance and philosophy flowing through the entire car.
Due to the car's connection with the Gran Turismo game, people were able to jump in and drive it virtually from the comfort of their own living room. Top Speed reported not too long ago that the French automaker Citroen, is considering a limited production run of their racing simulator inspired GT Concept. Citroen, a company that has never produced a super car will have to make up their minds in the next couple of weeks.
However, unlike the concept, the production version will get a Ford or General Motors supplied V8 engine that will put out somewhere around HP. If consumers show enough interest, the production GT might even make it to Frankfurt, with sales starting as early as next year.

But then people who had real money got interested in the car, and by December, Citroen changer its mind. It started thinking about how the GT could be built.

The original specs for the car had it using a hydrogen fuel cell, but Citroen hinted to Autocar that they will likely borrow a gas-guzzler from Ford or General Motors to make this supercar.
