Writing a review about this company would be like speaking ill of the dead, it had its problems but essentially it was a job. I would not work for another paint store, not my cup of tea.

Store manager was great, we did not receive the support from District and Regional Managers, Very busy day to day, took on the Asst Manager duties for 3 months,. Do you enjoy working at your company? All the employees were like family and I really enjoyed working here. I've never heard the name KWAL before this.
That said though In the overall scheme of the job however and at the rate of one gallon per room I've never been one to use name brand paint, usually going for the "America's Best" house brand at Home Depot. I didn't say explicitly, but this is for exteriors. Sherwin super paint was the top line for a long time, exterior semi has good mildewcide properties.
Benjamin Moore at Ace. If you are in Utah go to Kwal Nat Gas Man. Used Kwal before, not great paint but price is fair. I work for Sherwin Williams. I have had great success with B. My painter uses Dunn Edwards and always gets a great deal. Are you a GC? The Aura Matte finish is between a flat and an eggshell finish in terms of gloss. It is highly durable and scrubbable despite its low sheen.
The downside is the price - it is expensive. However, the coverage is excellent so that does offset the price a bit. In one of our rooms we were painting Aura Matte in a light color over an existing dark color that was in a satin finish.
The Aura Matte paint pretty much covered it in one coat and we didn't have to prime before, which saved time and money. Many of my clients opt to use one of Benjamin Moore's less expensive paint products in an eggshell finish and it looks great. In my own home, however, I needed the least amount of sheen combined with durability so that's why I went with Aura Matte. It's been down for almost a year, had to wait to paint because the wood had been treated.
Thanks for the recomendation. We used Benjamin Moore on our house 7 years ago and it still looks good. The house is old and a previous owner installed aluminum siding in the early 70's. I was afraid to paint it but the Benjamin Moore really stuck to that old faded aluminum. Thanks again! I am currently using the Benjamin Moore advance satin paint. Air bubbles in the paint.
Air bubbles with foam roller, regular roller for smooth surfaces and a Purdy paint brush! All bubbles. I have to roll it on, then take a brush to remove bubbles. My cabinets are flat. I do not recommend this paint for anything. I did clean, sand, prime too. We have used the Gilden and it worked wonderful. The edge between the ceiling and wall stay a very light pink for a day or two but you can't bet the way it tells you if you missed a spot or two.
